 The COVID 19 pandemic has left an indelible mark on our lives and, inevitably, also on our way of planning training.
Most training institutions have been able to adjust course administration, student assignments and assessment without great difficulty. The necessary technology was already present but students and teachers were often not comfortable using ICT technologies for daily activities and in the classroom. The same was true of a number of other schools and training providers across Europe. The Italian project partner has collected key best practices and lessons learned during the project lifetime.  During project meetings, the partner group has visited a number of schools and educational institutions to learn first hand from about experiences in Covid19 from the people involved, as well as doing interviews and collecting video diaries. The impact will hopefully both assist current education and training providers in coping with the new reality for teachers and learners alike, as well as to prepare us for future scenarios where schools have to adapt to unforseen circumstances.
Emphasis has been on the more difficult areas of education and training, e.g. physical education, vocational education and training for the elderly, and how these groups can learn and adapt techniques and educational approaches utilising IT, blended learning models and flipped classroom.
